Move Your Computer NOT Your Head

Some computer mounts for extensions may claim to be aero, and in isolation in a wind tunnel they maybe, but what about in the real world?
In the real world the rider accounts for 60% of drag and the savings generated by wearing a aero helmet are soon lost if the rider needs to move their head to every time they view their computer.

We recommend the mount be placed behind the hands whilst in riding position and angling the screen for perfect viewing. This will minimise head movement and therefore drag.

      3 way adjustability

er, whatever the shape, angle or toe-in of your extensions.

      Adapts to different bar shapes

By using a combination of rigid bracket and a hypalon hook and loop strap the TT mount 3.0 fits profiled bars as well as they do round ones.
left to right: standard bracket on profiled bars, standard bracket on round bars, right angled bracket on flat bars, extra wide bracket on round bars.

      What aero the experts say

"The mount allows the computer to be positioned directly behind the hands.  This is the most aerodynamically efficient position for the computer.
Firstly, because local aerodynamic drag on the computer is significantly reduced as it sits in the wake behind the hands.
Secondly, because it is possible to glance at the computer whilst retaining an optimal head position for aerodynamics and visibility."

      No-Turn Insert

Locks the computer in place by turning the bezel. The computer does not move so can therefore fit in narrow gaps between extensions.

      Great mount until it wasn't

I have been using this mount for the last several months on my ASC 43 aero bars and it fits perfectly. During my last Ironman race, I noticed my bike computer rattling around in the mount. I removed the computer fearing it would fly off, only to then see the Garmin bracket fly off. Now I am left with no way to mount my Garmin and had to use my watch for the rest of the race. It is such a solid mount that I would have never thought this could happen. Definitely disappointed.

Doesn’t fit profile asc 42 bars

Found a link on the site stating that the 3.0 fits profile asc 42 bars but it is not wide enough stock.

Many of are direct customers and bike fitters who fit our mounts have used the TT mount 3.0 on ASC bars. It sounds like you setup has your hands a long way apart? If that is the case they there are optional wide brackets for this scenario. Email usaorder@76projects.com if you need more help.

      Second time out

The right screw came loose and I lost all links to connect the screw to the device.

Hi Jeremy, we use nylock nuts to stop this happening. Please make sure that the screw you use is lonk enough to fully pass through the nut. We will contact you regarding replacement parts.

Love the mount but flimsy computer insert

On my first outside ride, the no-turn computer insert broke while going over a bumpy patch of road. My bike computer fell off but was luckily fine. I have a Wahoo computer, so I don’t know if the Garmin inserts are stronger or weaker in design, but I recommend buying multiple computer inserts and buying a tether at the same time.

Otherwise, the positioning of this mount is sooo much more comfortable than anything else on the market. Having my bike computer (currently with a rubber band holding it to the mount) between my hands just feels natural compared to other mounts that have you slightly looking off center or down between your arms. Also, the long Velcro and multiple spacers provided means you could use this easily with just about any shape of aero bars.

Even though my insert failed from the beginning, I think overall the TT mount is the extremely comfortable and well thought out. I would 100% buy it again if I lost it.
